We could not have asked for a better experience building with Lakemist Homes. During one of the most challenging times to build a home with increasing material costs and supply chain issues, Lakemist did an incredible job of keeping costs down and staying ahead of the supply chain issues so that we were able to close even earlier than expected.Our construction manager was great! He was in constant communication with us keeping us updated of our progress and guiding us through each phase of construction. He was accommodating and patient with all of our questions and requests. No build process goes 100% smoothly, but the entire team at Lakemist did a great job of keeping us updated as issues arose. They were honest and transparent if they ran into a problem and efficient and quick to address them. Nothing but positive things to say about the entire team at Lakemist and we can’t thank them enough for building our beautiful home!

I am happy to recommend Lakemist homes as a custom builder. They took the time to explain the process to my clients. They were also available to answer all of our questions. My clients built during a labor/housing and supply shortage. That in itself adds many challenges, however, the builder was prepared and we had little to no setbacks. When we decided to build our home, we were warned by some it would be difficult and stressful. It was neither. Working with Lakemist was a pleasure. They definitely take pride in the homes they build. Our home is everything we hoped it would be and more.
